Overview

Set in the lovely traditional village of Tzitzifes, in Apokoronas region, the stone-built villa Vita offers amazing mountain views and wonderful surroundings, as well as the experience of travelling back in time and meeting the authentic Crete! Stroll the paths of Tzitzifes village with the traditional taverns, visit the picturesque village of Vrysses (10 min. drive) and enjoy swimming in the sandy beach of Georgioupolis (20 min drive).

The space

Villa Vita, which means "life" in Greek, is the ideal option to discover the meaning of "real life" during our holidays. There could not be a better way to do this than to live in the heart of nature and get in touch with it. Tzitzifes, a picturesque mountainous village, with its beautiful water fountain and the traditional taverns and cafes will get into your heart at once!

Villa Vita, boasting authentic Cretan architecture, was renovated by the owners with true love and care in order to preserve its authentic character.
The villa hosts 8 persons, as it has a big dining area with kitchen, a small living room, two bedrooms and two studios, three bathrooms, as well as wonderful exteriors: a private pool with children's section and amazing mountain view, an outdoor fully equipped kitchen, and beautifully furnished veranda, balcony and yard.

Indoor Layout

Ground floor

As we enter the house, we find the dining area with a big dining table, a small living room with a comfortable sofa that can be converted into a double bed for 2 extra guests, flat screen TV with DVD player and a fully equipped kitchen.

The property, owing to its thick stone walls, functions as a natural air conditioner inside, maintaining a cool temperature regardless of the external temperature. It is the ideal atmosphere to gather with your family around the table, taste Cretan recipes of unique taste, made by the owner Zoe, and feel the love and tenderness of your family members.

On the same ground floor, there are two bedrooms and the main bathroom with a shower and washing machine. The first bedroom features a queen-size bed, closet and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom features two single beds, a ceiling fan and a closet.

First floor

On the first floor, there are two independent studios: One with two single beds, which can be adjusted in one super king size bed, bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with a small fridge, air-conditioning unit, and a sofa bed. The second studio features 2 single beds, which can be adjusted as a double, bathroom with shower, kitchenette, air-conditioning and a small dining table.
Besides the spacious interior, the first floor opens out to a wonderful veranda with a panoramic view of the mountains and the delightful sunset and moonlight.

Wi-Fi connection is offered in the entire villa.

Outdoor Layout

As Villa Vita is set on the top of the hill, it offers an unobstructed view from all the outdoor spaces. The private swimming pool, which is surrounded by trees and luscious greenery, features a children's section, sunbeds and a shower.
The spacious outdoor kitchen is equipped with a big dining table, BBQ, dishwasher and extra utensils and will become your favorite spot for family gatherings throughout the day. The exterior lounge and the dining area at the villa's balcony are perfect for relaxation, enjoying a cup of coffee, food and drink, gazing at the superb beauty of the Cretan nature!

✔ All expenses and taxes of the Villa for the stay time are included in price.
✔ Free Wi-Fi, electricity, hot water, air-conditioning cooling or heating.
✔ Towel change every 3 days, linen change per week (pool towels provided).
✔ Early check-in and late check-out possible upon request and subject to availability.

Terms & Policies

To book the villa 35% deposit must be paid.
Free cancellation up to 30 days prior to the arrival day.
Any cancellation less than 30 days prior arrival means 100% cancellation fees.
The balance of 65% is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.
Balance 65% can be arranged by different payment schedule on request.
On Special Offer prices 100% of the price is due and no cancellation is available.

In West Crete is sited the city of Chania Capital of the same name Region. Old port of Chania is surely one of the most visited places on the island, build by the Venetians with trademark the Egyptian lighthouse in the entrance of the port. Many museums, churches, Byzantine monasteries, Minoan ruins are some of the attractions and places of interest near the city.

Based in the famous district of Apokoronas in the Chania region, our villa offers a quiet village environment for their guests. From the small hilltop you will have amazing views from the east and the west, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful landscape of Crete!

In the beautiful Tzitzifes village and nearby villages of the area you will find cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and many more!
The famous resort of Georgioupolis with the amazing north coast sandy beach is only 13 km away (20 min drive) where you can find everything you may need to have some amazing holidays. The picturesque Vryses village with more shops and taverns is also very close (10 min drive).

Getting around

A car is necessary for a stay at the villa!
Only 30 min from Chania city and the Famous Venetian Old town and Port, offering a wide choice of activities for all ages. Bars, cafes, restaurants shops, museums, many archaeological sites. Enjoying the promenade in the old Town of Chania will be unforgettable and the reason that makes all visitors wish to return one day to see it again.

Sandy's famous tropical beaches, much stony scenery smaller ones, little villages, great entertainment places all around the region, and most of all friendly people with a great hospitality spirit of Greece make our place a small paradise you will never forget. The famous sandy beaches of Balos Lagoon, Gramvousa Island, Falassarna, and Elafonisi, on the West Crete, are places you Must visit on your holidays. Amazing crystal waters on a daily excursion away from all will surprise you and make you like to stay and enjoy the best sunset in the Mediterranean with the sun going into the sea, giving us a spectacular and colorful sunset, we could never forget!

The capital Chania City is connected with all major cities of Crete by the national road, the nearest harbor is Souda (5 km) and the nearest airport is Chania Daskalogiannis Airport with code name CHQ (10 km). Heraklion International airport with the code name HER is also convenient (140km).
